The network has more than 10,000 members worldwide, young leaders determined to be involved in the long term in their communities, through projects in different sectors of activity, in particular: education, inclusion, and climate. Each of the 446 Hubs is located in a city and its members undertake projects and activities with the objective of creating a positive impact within their local community. The Global Shapers Community is an initiative of the World Economic Forum.

We invite young people from Lyon aged 18 to 27 to join our hub. Two recruitment sessions are planned every year: the first in June, the second in December. All applications are analyzed by a recruitment committee set up by the Hub. Promising profiles are invited to an interview and selected applications receive an invitation to join the Hub. Each new arrival is announced via our social media platforms. You can provide your contact details via the contact form and we will keep you informed as soon as our next recruitment campaign is launched.
In order to extend the reach of our impact, we regularly collaborate with various local actors, particularly in the field of education and professional integration. If you would like to collaborate with our Hub, we invite you to contact us via the contact form.
The members of the Lyon Hub are volunteers. They do not receive financial compensation for their role as Shaper. We are a non-profit organization committed to volunteering and service to develop our local community.
Shapers must pay an annual fee of €50. This is used to finance the operation of the Hub.
We are committed to ensuring high impact at low cost. Our projects are funded by grants that we receive from our partner organizations who believe in our ability to achieve results. We also rely on our local partners to provide in-kind support to enable us to carry out our actions in the Lyon region.
There are 4 Global Shapers hubs in France: Lyon, Paris, Marseille, and Nice.
