GS Lyon is part of the Global Shapers Community, a network of Hubs created and led by young people whose potential, achievements, and motivation to contribute to the development of their communities are exceptional.
The network includes more than 10,000 members worldwide—young leaders determined to make a long-term commitment to their communities through projects in various fields, particularly education, inclusion, and climate action.
Each of the 446 Hubs is based in a city, and its members undertake projects and activities aimed at creating a positive impact within their local community.
The Global Shapers Community is an initiative of the World Economic Forum.

We invite young people from Lyon aged 18 to 27 to join our Hub. Two recruitment sessions are held each year: the first in June and the second in December.
All applications are reviewed by a recruitment committee set up by the Hub. Promising candidates are invited for an interview, and successful applicants receive an invitation to join the Hub. Each new member is announced on our social media platforms.
You can share your contact details through the contact form, and we will keep you informed when our next recruitment campaign begins.
To expand the reach of our impact, we regularly collaborate with various local stakeholders, particularly in the fields of education and professional integration.
If you would like to collaborate with our Hub, we invite you to get in touch with us via the contact form.
The members of the Lyon Hub are volunteers. They do not receive any financial compensation for their role as Shapers. We are a non-profit organization committed to volunteering and serving to develop our local community.
Shapers are required to pay an annual membership fee of €50. This fee helps fund the operations of the Hub.
We are committed to delivering high-impact projects at a low cost. Our projects are funded through grants from partner organizations that believe in our ability to achieve results. We also rely on our local partners to provide in-kind support, enabling us to successfully carry out our initiatives in the Lyon area.
There are 4 Global Shapers Hubs in France: Lyon, Paris, Marseille, and Nice.
